Breezy Hill horseback riding summer camp is open to boys and girls ages 6 through 17 years old.

Summer camp is geared for the beginner to low intermediate riders. Participants will spend one hour in a formal riding lesson in the morning. In the afternoon, they will be riding in various equestrian actives. Introduction to vaulting, Gymkhana (games on horseback) and trail riding. Attendees will receive hands on experiences in numerous aspects of equine management.

They will learn how to groom, feed, clean stalls and basic training of the horse. Also, they will learn parts of the horse and equipment, common horse illnesses and identification of possible medical problems. We will explore the cost of ownership and what to look for when buying a horse.

They will be getting dirty and wet washing and cooling horses off with water. They will participate in the daily flow of the barn with veterinarian and blacksmith visits.

At the end of camp they will receive a picture of themselves and a horse they worked with on a tee shirt. A parent demonstration will be held at 12:00PM on Friday

A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 will reserve a spot for each camper.
